Once again, the best teams from across Malaysia and Singapore will duke it out at the highest level for the trophy as well as a chance to seed for the PMPL SEA Final. The previous season was the PUBG Mobile Pro League – Spring Split 2020: MYSG Finals which was held back after the qualifiers due to the outbreak of COVID-19. The tournament eventually resumed on the 31st of March and the finals was held entirely offline after only a few weeks of planning -an impressive feat by Tencent Games.
At the Finals, the competition was fierce with the 3 top teams emerging at the top; Team Secret coming in 1st, Yoodo Gank in 2nd and BTR AROV in 3rd. Those 3 teams continued to bring fierce competition on the regional stage at the PUBG Mobile Pro League – Spring Split 2020: Southeast Asia stage. Blowing past all the Southeast Asian favourites, Yoodo Gank emerged the champion team with the Indonesian teaam BTR Red Aliens a close 2nd place with fellow Malaysian professionals Team Secret finishing in 5th.
In a true display of esports prowess, the previous PMPL has proven to the Southeast Asian region that Malaysian PUBG Mobile professionals are of a high calibre.
Yoodo Gank and Team Secret continue to battle it out at the PUBG Mobile World League Season Zero. What happened to the other top competitor for Malaysia?
Stay tuned to find out…. 31.07.2020
